In order to enrich the amateur cultural life of employees, build an interactive communication platform for employees and create a harmonious corporate culture atmosphere, GAOHR held a “Badminton Game” in the gym of Nanxiang Sumin Middle School in Jiading. A total of more than 50 players participated in the badminton game, and they came from various branches and offices of GAOHR in Shanghai.

The game started at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. There were three events, including men’s singles, women’s singles and mixed doubles. 

First of all, the women’s singles started; with the spirit of unyielding, women players were brave to struggle and fight for the first place. They were valiant and heroic, and were as excellent as their male colleagues, showing the hard work and enterprising style of our GAOFAN people. 

Then the men’s singles started, and the competition was very fierce. “Like the Eight Immortals crossing the sea”, they showed their special skills to compete for championship. The cheers rose one after another and incessantly lingered.

In the final mixed doubles, the players in each group showed a professional level. With flexible steps, concealed movements, dunk in the front court and drop shot in the back court, they stood up against professional players. The groups seemed to be evenly matched. The white badmintons were flying and spinning in the air, which showed a different scenery! Players played fully and delightfully, and the audience watched thrillingly and couldn’t help but sweat for the players they supported.

Friendship first and competition second. On the field, each group strived hard and did not give way to the other; off the field, both sides shake hands with each other, exclaimed with admiration for each other’s superb ball skills, and were pride of their wonderful performance in the game! The stadium was permeated with a joyful atmosphere.

This badminton competition lasted three and a half hours and finally ended successfully. The company President Even presented awards and prizes to the winner, runner-up and second runner-up of the men’s singles, women’s singles and mixed doubles respectively. Through the competition, employees of the company not only exercised their body, enhanced the friendship, showed the team’s sense of cooperation, and demonstrated the indomitable fighting spirit of competitive sports. 

This competition aims to promote the in-depth development of the company’s national fitness activities, enrich the employees’ amateur culture life, advocate the concept of healthy living and happy work, further stimulate the work enthusiasm and creative vitality of the majority of employees, and enhance the company’s cohesion and centripetal force. This activity has achieved the expected results. Everyone has expressed that they would bring the concept of solidarity and cooperation and the sports spirit of struggle hard to the work, and contribute their own strength to the development of GAOFAN.
