Job Description
We are looking for an eCommerce Application Configuration Management Engineer to join the team for the development and operation of Product Information Management (PIM) / Digital Assets Management (DAM) system for a well known cosmetic brand.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the setup and/or operation of retail Digital Assets Management (DAM) systems. The ideal candidate should also be able to communicate with both business operation team and technical development team. Therefore, we need somebody that is proactive, thoughtful and a good problem solver.
Role & Responsibilities
Being primary contact person for DAM operation team in China
Provide operational guidance and support to local DAM users during working hours in China
Conduct initial investigation and analysis on system issues and provide solutions and/or workarounds when applicable
Prioritize issues as per escalation process and escalate critical issues to regional support team
Become the communication bridge between 3rd party vendors and regional support team
Participate in review and follow-up meetings
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in retail eCommerce application configuration management and support
Hands-on experience in execution of media content (e.g. image and video) migration and roll-out plan for large-scale webstores or online stores
You have excellent communication skills and are proficient in both English and Chinese (verbal and written)
You are hands-on and have a real practical sense of field operations
Quick learner and be able to deep dive into specific requirements and details
You have a results-driven and impact-oriented mindset
You would also benefit from any of the following:
Previous experience in providing training session to business users
Previous experience in business requirement gathering, analysis and documentation
Technical understanding on DAM system and other systems might integrate with it
Previous experience in project management such as planning, timeline, cost, reporting and risk mitigation
Previous working experience in a digital agency
