Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:
1. Review with product design engineers on engineering drawing to ensure the manufacturability.
2. Support assembly and test procedures, work flow diagrams, shop layout to meet production forecasts.
3. Establish manufacturing time standards for manpower and capacity planning. Conduct studies to evaluate available capacity and equipment against the present and future manufacturing needs.
4. Develop and procure necessary tooling, jigs and fixtures, detailed SOP, manual assembly process to support the manufacturing process and design specifications. Ensure the equipment / gauges’ validity for production.
5. Monitor Production Yields, resolve manufacturing problems, clarify, improve, and streamline processes to create a more efficient and effective manufacturing environment. Identify problem, its root cause, short-term fix, long-term corrective action and implementation plan.
6. Analysis the quality records and work with production / manufacturing staff on process improvement.
7. Design production line layout and station setting according to capacity demand.
8. Participate in Lean/CI activities, monitor the execution and result.
9. Responsible for ME project of new product development and production line transfer.
10. Complete other job assignments arranged by line manager.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
2. Above 5 years related experience. Be skilled in design software, like Auto-CAD, Solid Works or Inventor
3. Should be a strong team player with flexibility to adapt to organizational needs and priorities.
4. Good command of English and PC.
5. Good communication skill.
6. Prefer to have lean manufacturing background.
7. Good APQP experience.
