In June 2019, GAOHR partners started a new round of trips without plan. This time, our friends went to Yunnan Province, known as the “South of Colorful Clouds”. Yunnan is a land of idyllic beauty that dreamed by countless people. Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La, Xishuangbanna…. a city, a culture and a “taste”.
GAOHR customized a 6-day travel to Kunming, Dali and Lijiang for its partners to thank them for their courage to fight, persistent improvement, continuous exploration, attentive to duties and contributions to GAOHR in the past years!
The First Stop [Stone Forest Scenic Spot]
At the first stop of the trip, we set off to visit the national 5A-level scenic spot – Stone Forest. Stone Forest is a miracle of karst landform, Ashima Shiraishi’s hometown. It is known for its “quietness and uniqueness” in the world’s natural landscape. Because its long history, complete types, large scale and complete development, it is known as “one in the world wonders”.

The Second Stop [Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Zone] – [ Impression Lijiang] – [Old Town of Lijiang]
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is a holy mountain in the heart of Naxi people. It is surrounded by clouds all year round, covered with white snow. There are rich landscape of snow, glaciers, alpine meadows and virgin forests, as well as beautiful scenery.
We took the cable car to the viewing platform of more than 4,000 meters high. Due to the high altitude, our friends have more or less had a plateau reaction. But with the indomitable spirit and endurance of GAOHR people, a majority of our partners continued to climb on foot, reaching the summit of 4680 meters high. After reaching the top, the openness and clearance, and the pleasure and pride in conquering the nature is worth remembering in our lives.

Arriving at Lijiang, you must watch the “Impression Lijiang” to show the local conditions and customs vividly. Without stage or light, only more than 500 ordinary people dedicate a majestic performance with their most sincere feelings and loudest signing.

I originally thought that all the people in the world were living under the same blue sky. In fact, it is not the case. The sky in Lijiang is blue and clear, as clear as a gem, like a mirror, which is immense. When darkness fall, it has a amorous feeling. The small town was ablaze with lights and crowded with visitors. The sky is full of fireworks, and the streets are full of people. Various local specialties and exquisite handicrafts were colorfully displayed, which made people overwhelmed. There are always some stray singers in the bar, singing folk songs and rock music with vicissitude and dull or enthusiastic, bold and unrestrained voice, igniting the passion of the audience on the site and passers-by. Yunnan’s night is really different from the bustling city. It is more generous and unrestrained, and freer and easier. In the endless noise, the night grew thicker and thicker unconsciously to return to quiet.
The Third Stop [ Cangshan and Erhai] - The Realm of Sky
Someone said that enjoying flowers in Shangguan, listening to the wind in Xiaguan, walking in the snow of Cangshan and enjoy the moon in Erhai Lake. The beautiful Yunnan is an ocean of flowers, different flowers all yera round, which is colorful and fragrant. Riding a bicycle along Erhai and the West Huanhai Road, stop and go.
In the afternoon, we arrived at the popular photography place in Erhai - “The Realm of the Sky”. The blue sky, white cloud, Cangshan and Erhai are all in your grasp. You can feel the unbridled and unrestrained freedom, have fun cheerfully, and see the sea and humanities. What’s unforgettable and moving is the acquaintance to knowing each other all the way, and you and me are all the way.

The Fourth Stop [ Dali Ancient City]
The last stop is Dali Ancient City. Dali Ancient City is the political, economic and cultural center of Yunnan during more than 500 years in the Tang and Song Dynasties, carrying the historical culture, religious culture and ethnic culture of Dali. It is the core tourism area of Dali.
Finding a moment of leisure in a busy life, feeling the Millennium Team Horse Road, we wandered in the streets and alleys of Dali Ancient City, watching the old eaves flashing old memories in the sun, listening to the wind blowing through the moss and sun tiles, and playing the march of life to interpret the legend of immortality. In this way, the heart is precipitating slowly in the warm and gentle sunshine and the blue clear sky, which is a good enjoyment of life.

The six-day journey to Yunnan has finally come to an end! This trip is the first time that our partners of GAOHR all over the country travelled together. Our fellows can communicate with each other from online to face-to-face to communication with each other and understand each other intuitively while relaxing their bodies and minds and cultivating their sentiments. In the future work, they will be bound to cooperate with each other more tacitly.
The scenery all the way to Yunnan is very beautiful. Everyone frequently presses the camera shutter to focus on the picturesque scenery with the lens and freeze the wonderful moment with heart. We have harvested happiness, harvested food and beautiful scenery, and more harvested thanksgiving in the journey!
