Case:CEO of an E-commerce Company

Our company was entrusted by a holding company to recruit the CEO of an e-commerce company. After a lot of searching, we finally targeted at a doctor who returned from overseas. He served as the vice president of an enterprise and the general manager of a network company under his control, which is very in line with the client’s requirements.

When we contacted him, he was resolutely unwilling to consider or even hear us to introduce about our client. In despair, we had to give up.

We can only find another way out and started looking for other candidates again. But after several twists and turns, we failed to find a more suitable candidate. It seemed that we can only target at the doctor again. So we conducted survey to hims through various channels to find his breakthroughs. So we knew that “mentor” through a specially created opportunity, and made good friends with him, and gained his trust with our sincerity. After that, we successfully analyzed together with him whether the candidate would have a better development in his current company or our client’s company, and the result was obvious.

Later, with the help of the mentor, we successfully persuaded the candidate and made a commitment that “if he is not responsible with the company we recommended within three months, we are responsible for recommending other suitable enterprise to him.” It seems now that it is very difficult to realize such a commitment. Therefore, we will no longer make such a commitment, but rather more carefully analyze and judge whether the opportunity is suitable for candidates and remind them of the risk of job-hopping. We finally succeeded in completing the project!
